Book Style Kindle Case v Kindle Socks?
I generally always liked leather jacket shape Kindle covers before. This sort of kindle cover made my old fashioned looking 2nd gen Kindle feel a little like a real tome. This type of case additionally provided magnificent protection to a gadget with a high price tag of about two hundred and fifty dollars.
But my most recent Kindle cost a mere , therefore can I really rationalize spending a ton of cash on a lavish leather jacket style kindle 4 cover Several book style Kindle covers (like those that have built in lights) costs almost as much as the ebook reading device itself! Outrageous!
Even if I can (though in fact I would not want to!), there was something else to bear in mind;
the latest generation e-book readers are in simple terms great to operate simply as they are!
I definitely didn’t wish for a big cumbersome traditional jacket getting in the way. Because it feels so comfortable to use the little kindle 4 readers in one hand that a fixed kindle jacket would spoil the experience. What’s more, with the new non-slip reverse on the Kindle wi-fi they feel significantly more secure in your grip just how they are. I often used to be troubled about losing my grip on my ebook reading device when using it. Now it feels extremely “grippy” I don’t feel That i could do with a kindle cover on it everyday “just to be safe”.
So, a traditional jacket type cover or else a simple pouch No debate, I bought a wonderful sleeve style Kindle cover!
However, I recognize that there are times when a jacket might be more appropriate:
1. When you require a book light within reach always, but without having to carry about anything too heavy you might favor a traditional jacket that has a book light inbuilt.
2. If you like to read “without holding it” such as whilst eating, a flip stand cover might be a sensible choice.
3. If you actually pine for the experience of reading a “real” book, a jacket style cover ought to help you get at least part of that feeling back!
For myself – there was no debate because it just had to be a kindle sleeve type of case, and not a jacket style cover!
